On Dickensian Evening the market square in Wantage will be full of all sorts of fantastic attractions and events – it is the town’s biggest annual event, held on the first Friday of December every year.
Don’t forget to dress up in Victorian costume if you possibly can!
Previously, there have been a Victorian Fun Fair, Punch and Judy shows, Icknield Way Morris Men, handbell ringers, circle dancers, and Christmas carols ringing out across the town. Father Christmas has also made an appearance.
Its a real family event and is always great fun!
