Childrey & Sparsholt W.I

Childrey and Sparsholt W.I is a lively group whose members (currently 22) meet on the third Tuesday of every month at 7.30 p.m. in the Village Hall to enjoy an interesting variety of speakers and social evenings. The annual programme also includes workshops and special events such as yoga, art sessions, visits to local garden and trips to other places of interest. We welcome visitors to join us whenever possible.

We join with other local W.I s for an area event twice a year and take part in Oxfordshire and National initiatives. This includes annually voting on resolutions which lead to actions which help to bring about National change.

The local community is important to us so we get involved in events such as the Childrey Fest.  The WI logo is INSPIRING WOMEN. We try to live up to this by being an active, caring and welcoming group open to women of all ages.
