One of the reasons Childrey is a popular village for young families is the excellent Little Ducks Pre-School and Ridgeway C of E Primary School located in the village. You will find the Pre-school in the Pavilion at The Playing Fields on week days between 9am and 3pm. The primary school is situated at the end of West Street, the road opposite the pub when you enter the village from Wantage. The Village also has a Baby and Toddler Group that meets every Wednesday morning between 9.30 to 12.00 at The Methodist Hall.
