The venue for the tearfund lunch had to be changed at very short notice. It will be held at the home of Pat & Brian Winsley, Paddocks End, West Street.
As a rule, the family (united) service in Childrey, when held at the Methodist chapel, is always 11am. It is 10am when at St Mary's. This month the 5th (like last month the 1st) the service time in the Childrey Ridgeway box says 10 am, whiolst the Methodist list is 11am. |

Welcome! We hope to provide a site that will be of interest to both members of the Childrey Parish and the public at large.
The village of Childrey is situated in the Vale of the White Horse close to the historic town of Wantage and on the edge of the Berkshire Downs.
It has its own school, shop, pub, a church and a chapel, village hall and playing field and has a parish population of approx 500. We have just added a new menu item for local articles - check it out!
