The venue for the tearfund lunch had to be changed at very short notice. It will be held at the home of Pat & Brian Winsley, Paddocks End, West Street.

As a rule, the family (united) service in Childrey, when held at the Methodist chapel, is always 11am. It is 10am when at St Mary's. This month the 5th (like last month the 1st) the service time in the Childrey Ridgeway box says 10 am, whiolst the Methodist list is 11am.

The GODFREY and FETTIPLACE TRUST is a local charity. It gives grants to young people of Childrey (less then 25 yr. -old) to help with their education.

This may be either by helping them directly with the costs of books or equipment or by giving grants to organisations concerned with the education and training of youngsters in the Parish of Childrey.

The Charity also manages the Old School House property situated in Church Row
