The venue for the tearfund lunch had to be changed at very short notice. It will be held at the home of Pat & Brian Winsley, Paddocks End, West Street.

As a rule, the family (united) service in Childrey, when held at the Methodist chapel, is always 11am. It is 10am when at St Mary's. This month the 5th (like last month the 1st) the service time in the Childrey Ridgeway box says 10 am, whiolst the Methodist list is 11am.

Childrey is a thriving village with a range of clubs and activities to cater for all age groups. For the very young there is a Little Ducks Pre-school and Playgroup and for the not so young the Tuesday club provides and entertaining way to spend a few hours.
