The venue for the tearfund lunch had to be changed at very short notice. It will be held at the home of Pat & Brian Winsley, Paddocks End, West Street.

As a rule, the family (united) service in Childrey, when held at the Methodist chapel, is always 11am. It is 10am when at St Mary's. This month the 5th (like last month the 1st) the service time in the Childrey Ridgeway box says 10 am, whiolst the Methodist list is 11am.

Childrey Mummers Print E-mail
The arts event of the Childrey year took place outside the Hatchet on Boxing Day. The final performance of the Mummers' 2007 season started at the traditional time of one o’clock. The stage was set and a rowdy crowd of locals and not so locals looked on with anticipation. Many people took the opportunity to catch up with old friends that they hadn’t see since the last Mummers play!
